It brings support for UHD and 4K channel and then support H.265 codec. So it brings definitively more than the Duo2 box that will never support it. I am also looking for a box with H.265 (and perhaps VP10 too when available) to watch UHD/4K channels on my TV but I would prefer another brand with better driver support. The idea goes behond watching the sat TV channels but since those new codecs propose better encryption we will see SD and HD transmission encoded with those new codec to put more channel on the same TP. But also for IPTV that always look to reduce the bandwidth without losing quality. So definitively I won't purchase a box (except a very low cost one) today if it doesn't support H.265

Configure one of them and scan and check what you get and if it match bingo you have got it. If not then change the config and launch a scan. Of course blind scan can be an option too.

Why use a blind scan if it is a well-know satellite, simply configure which satellite is connected to the LNB and start a search, it will be faster than starting a blind scan.

You need to test if HDCP (the HDMI protection) is active or not on the device you connect. If the HDCP is active it won't work.

Hi, You can perhaps test the following. Download again the bootloader file unzip it. In the hdp folder you have 3 files, rename the one called noforce to force. Copy the directory to the root of a fresh FAT32 formatted USB stick. Power off you box disconnect everything only connect the USB stick with the bootloader and turn on you box. There is a chance that the flash procedure start. But I agree with you that this error message:

Since you never provide the requested log, the problem cannot be solved. So please learn how to create a debug log in OScam and publish it, so we can have a look at the exact problem with irdeto card, changing the .ko file is not the solution. Hi, I never play with transcoding but I can confirm that the PiP gives me many troubles. The one you mention but also shacking image on the main screen and fluent one in the PiP window, even on the same channel! And some channel can simply not be displayed at all in the PiP Window. Pr2

What is your STB tuner setup? I have a GI Xpeed LX-3 same as yours but for European market and my setup is: Tuner A&B: DVB-S2 (each one with an indivual cable entry) Tuner C&D: DVB-T2/C configured in DVB-C mode (tuner D is loopbacked from tuner C) and I don't experience the problem you mentionned. i never lost tuner C&D.
